We're Obsessed: Miu Miu's Grown-Up Gingham

Sometimes a shoe comes along that is completely unsensible, but equally hard to resist. Enter, Miu Miu's taffeta gingham slingbacks for spring. The checkered, bow-backed shoes conjure up childhood Easter Sunday memories, but the sleek pointed toe and 4-inch heel are anything but innocent. These sort of patterned heels play to both my prim and quirky sides — depending on how I wear them. I'll mix it up with head-to-toe white and floral dresses alike.
